History of the CRC/ZICTEC

The Computer Resource Centers program was commenced in 1993. A center has established in each Zonal Education office region. NCCA course and curriculum were developed by National Institute of Education. Five teachers in the schools of the zone were selected as instructors. One instructor was selected as Center Manager. All the staff in the Computer Resource Centers were trained by National Institute of Education. Recently, the name of the center was changed as Zonal Information Communication Technology Education Center (ZICTEC).
